Summer Garden
Throught out the summer, we conduct a summer garden program. We meet twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 8:30 to 11:30. The summer garden program is designed to provide the participants with hands on opportunity to prepare, plant, and harvest their own crops. Through this process they will learn the nutritional values of growing your own food. The nutritional value of buying locally is also stressed upon through trips to the local farmers market.
If you would like further information about the summer garden program please feel free to contact the Agriscience department at Alma High School.
